What is an AEO agency?
An AEO agency is a marketing agency that reworks your pages so that answer engines, such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, can quote them as the answer to a customer's question. It restructures and rewrites content, adds structured data where it describes what is visible, and checks whether the reworked pages start appearing in answers. JustIdea is such an agency, based in Kraków, in the EU, and works in English and Polish.
What does AEO stand for?
AEO stands for answer engine optimization: shaping a page so that a search feature or an assistant that gives one direct answer, instead of a list of links, takes that answer from you. The term is used next to GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI SEO, and the three overlap heavily. For us AEO means the work on the content and structure of the page itself.
Is AEO worth it?
It is worth it when your customers already ask questions in Google or in an AI engine and your pages are the right place to answer them. It mostly means reworking text you already have, from €20 net per 1,000 characters with spaces. It is not worth it for a site with no content to rework or no search demand for its topics. We cannot guarantee citations, because nobody controls an answer engine, and we say so before we start.
Which AEO agencies are considered the best?
There is no official ranking or certificate for AEO. The lists you find are written by agencies and publishers, often ones that sell the service themselves, so compare agencies on three points instead: which questions they will measure the effect on, whether you get a text before and after the change, and whether the price is stated before the call. JustIdea states its price per 1,000 characters up front, and its client reviews from Clutch, Google and Facebook are public.
How is AEO different from SEO?
SEO competes for a place in a list of links, AEO for the passage that an engine lifts into its answer. The unit of work changes from the page to the passage: a definition, a list of steps, a question with its answer. The base stays shared with SEO, because the page still has to be crawlable, fast and indexed, and the same signals that earn rankings, such as expertise and original data, help earn citations. That is why the two are run together.
AEO or GEO: which one do I need?
You need AEO when the pages you already have should become the answer. You need GEO when the brand has to be named across many questions, which also means sources outside your site. The two share passages, structured data and a consistent company entity, and they are often combined. We keep them as separate pages because the work, the measurement and the price differ: this page prices the reworking of content, the GEO page the method across engines.

How much does AEO cost?
From €20 net per 1,000 characters with spaces for new or reworked text. Category descriptions and ranking articles are quoted per piece. An AI-ready text costs the same as ordinary copy, because we do not charge extra for the AI in the name. You see the list of pages and the quote before we start writing.
How soon do reworked pages show up in answers?
We first check the reworked pages against the list of questions after 4-8 weeks. Answers built from live search, such as AI Overviews and Perplexity, react first. The memory of a language model changes more slowly, with new model versions, and is counted in quarters rather than weeks.
Do pages have to be rewritten from scratch to be quoted?
Usually not. A post that already ranks in Google often only needs the missing concepts, current data and a split into passages. We write a new text when no page of the site answers your customers' question, or when the old page covers the topic too narrowly.
Which pages do AI engines cite most?
In our measurement of 143 pages cited by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews for six questions about choosing an agency in Poland, 54% were articles: rankings, guides, round-ups and answers to questions. Almost one citation in four went to a service page or an agency directory listing, and about one in eight to a home page.
Does structured data help an engine quote my page?
Google says plainly that AI Overviews need no extra markup. Structured data still helps the search engine read the author, the topic of the page and what is a question and what is an answer. We add it where it describes content visible on the page, because markup that contradicts the content does harm.

Can an AEO agency in the EU help a US company get quoted in Europe?
Yes, if you sell or plan to sell in European markets. JustIdea is based in Kraków, in the EU, and works in English and Polish. An engine replies in the language of the question and draws on sources from that market, so we build the list of questions separately for each language and market, then rework the pages that should answer them. We write content in English and Polish only. For other EU languages we supply the questions and the brief, and a native speaker on your side checks the text. We run the e-commerce of Surf Inc., a brand we co-create, on the technology and marketing side, and it sells in nine markets.
