How does AI SEO differ from classic SEO?
Classic SEO competes for a place in a list of links, AI SEO for a place in the sentence a model writes instead of that list. The technical base is largely shared: the site has to be accessible to crawlers, fast and easy to understand. The difference is in the form of the content, in structured data, and in the fact that the effect is measured by share of answers, not by position.
How can I check whether ChatGPT knows my brand?
The simplest way is to ask the model a question your customer would ask and see whose names come up in the answer. A one-off test says little, because answers differ between sessions, so the study uses a fixed set of questions, repeated many times, and counts the brand's share of the results. Only that gives a number you can compare over time.
How long before the models start quoting my site?
The first changes in AI Overviews and in Perplexity usually show after six to twelve weeks, because both draw on the search engine's current index. ChatGPT and Gemini update what they know about brands more slowly, so there you count in quarters. Untrue facts about the business are the fastest to fix, because that is work on structured data and external sources, not on new content.
How much does AI SEO cost?
Prices start from €250 net, for setting up monitoring with the first reading (the tool subscription is paid by you). The visibility study across four engines and the ongoing work on brand facts and content, which runs together with SEO in the SEO + AI package, are quoted individually. One-off products for single models are described on the pages about ChatGPT, Gemini, GEO and the AI Overviews audit.
Can I influence what a model says about my business?
Facts yes, opinion only indirectly. An outdated address, an old offer or a wrong company name come from specific sources, and those sources can be corrected. A qualitative judgement, for example whose product the model considers better, comes from what others write about the brand, so it takes as long to work on as reputation does.
Which language models will my site be visible in?
We work on six systems: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google AI Overviews and Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Claude (Anthropic), and add Mistral and Meta AI when needed. We do not rank the site in the sense of links in results: we work to make the content recognisable, logically structured and quotable for systems that generate an answer from the context they have understood. We measure each engine separately, because they react at different speeds.
Should I block AI crawlers in robots.txt?
It is a business decision, not a technical one, and for most businesses the answer is no. Blocking protects the content from being used to train models, but it also removes the brand from answers in which it could be quoted. Blocking makes sense where the content is the product sold for access, not where the content is meant to bring in customers.
